Main Aims

To provide clarification of home objects in the context of objects

Subsidiary Aims

To provide accuracy speaking practice in a using words they learned with their locations in the context of home objects

Procedure (37-53 minutes)

Warmer/Lead-in (5-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Tell a story about home with new words and mention some location of home objects while I use new words draw its picture on board and write its name.

Exposure (3-5 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

I read the story again and want ss write the location of things I mentioned.

Highlighting (5-8 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Make them groups to share the sentence they wrote. Then from each group one person come and write a sentence.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Now T read sentences they wrote and elicit the meaning of them (by asking question where is the ...?) and whole of class try to answer. Then repeat answers with new words and locations.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Again, ss being group and T show some picture for each group for some seconds to memorise object's location each group say them more correct win the game.

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Now ss write 3 question (where is the...?) it can be about the class or their home then they go for snakes and ladders game each person answer true can throw the dice.
