1 A and B, 2 A, B and C. During the controlled practice for B, write on the board: Dánae taught the best class. It was Dánae who taught the best class. DEC during B and C.
Follow 3 A. Write cleft sentence: emphasizes particular words that the speaker thinks are more important. Can you think of a situation where you can use this form? (ex. you have a lazy brother who never does anything around the house, and one day you come home and everything is cleaned up and your brother did it. Then your mom comes in and praises you for the help. You would say something like, it was my brother who did it. The emphasis is contrastive, it contradicts a false belief or expectation.
