To give students an opportunity to practise scanning by listening to the interview with N and B in the context of food and frinks

To provide accuracy in freer speaking practice in a conversation in the context of food and drinks
Procedure (39-45 minutes)
Put the flashcards of food and drinks in different parts of the classroom. Sugget students to point to these flashcards and answe questions: what is this/that? What are these/those? Gather all cards together, put them on the whiteboard and ask ex1 What is your favourite food?
ex 2 Are there any words that you don't understand? Let's listen and repeat. Choral drilling and in pairs. ex 3 Use the words that we have read and write the items of food Peer correction.
Ex 4 Look at the page 22 again. What are the names of the children there? Look at the dishes and tell me, what can you see on the dish A (nominating), dish B (nominating) .... Let's listen to the interview and complete the table. Write only letters. Which do they eat on breakfast, lunch and dinner. CCQ: What we are going to do? Listen and complete.
