Good morning class, how are you today. right everyone, I would like to know how you guys keep in touch with each other. Do you keep in touch with the internet, mobile phones, letters, etc. Ask students to say how they keep in touch with each other They should then speak to their partners about how they keep in touch with each other. Ask students to give feedback about their partners

Students do excercise1 where they have to skim through the text quickly and try to match the topics with the paragraphs individually. Then i'll tell them to check in pairs. Then we will check as a whole class.

Language analysis (8-10 minutes) • to improve the students vocab

After the students have read the text and understood it firmly I will go through all the vocabulary they didn't understand. First i'll try and make them find out the meaning. Then I will start using gestures to help them understand it or by them just reading the text they could figure out the meaning. I will first go through the hard words like hectic, physiotherapist, grant, humanities, etc. and if the students have any other questions about vocabulary i'm ready to help them. Hectic: very busy physiotherapy: the treatment of a disease broaden: widen horizons: interest, experience humanities: learning about human culture exhausted: to loose all your strength, tired grant: money given by the government abroad: overseas fascinating: interesting
