Description

in this lesson we are going to start with a quick task that includes writing 3 sentences with should that students write based on their experiences. after that i chose three sentences and write them on board and explane the meaning of sentences an usage of should.i write the structure of usage of should and should not and question form.i ask to students to tell me examples of nagative and qestion form .context is based on the sentences of students about should and i explane that how sentsnces change when you add should. i provide this chance for communication with student . i put them in pairs to make some advices for each other and use should in different forms

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

i ask to student write three sentences with should based on their experiences.then they will read their sentences and we talk about those sentences and their reasons

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

i chose three sentencses of students and write them on boerd to draw their attention to the structure and meaning of examples

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

i will write the structure on the board and determine the parts of sentenses and ask the questions about the verb that we use after[should].ask to students for repeating sentences on the board to make sure that the pronunciation is correct .i will ask some questions for example;when we use this structure?what is the meaning of sentense?can we replace another thing?i explane about one point that we have to consider when we want to make question form with[should].i will write another sentences with alternative

Controlled Practice (8-12 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

students are going to fill gaps on page 54 in the work Book American English File2. they have 6 minutes to complate them.then they check their answers in pairs after that we will check the answers with whole class.

Free Practice (8-12 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

i put students in groups or pairs to talk about the situations that they use should what made them to do that action . one of each group wii chose to tall to whole class about that experience. i will correct them anywhere that is necessary.
