Procedure

Warmer and Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Warmer - Ask SS about clothes at the pictures. Is this...? Are these..? Lead in - Look at the cartoon and find the names of the City Creatures

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

ex 1 Read and find info. Circle the correct answers. Check answers in whole class

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

ex 2 Read vocabulary using wordwall Find clothes in the cartoon. Is this Is that Are there Are those Find questions in the text

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Look at grammar box and do a quiz in wordwall

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
