Description

In this lessons, students must be able to present about themselves and ambitions and professions will be highlighted in this lesson.

Materials

Abc Pictures that describe professions

Main Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a Presentation and Conversation in the context of Myself and personal questions

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide practice of jobs in the context of ambitions

Procedure

Warmer (3-5 minutes) • to get students engaged, comfortable, and ready to learn.

Students and Teacher including assistant teachers will sing the songs we learnt in previous week

Lead in (5-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Teacher will set the target language using the picture as a material

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Teacher will write down the personal question (or) a story about ambition and students will read the question (or) story and find out their ambition.

Productive Task(s) (10-15 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Students will ask question about ambition to their friends and the aid of assistant teachers is needed especially in arranging sitting plan. Teacher will walk around the class and correct the error on the spot.

Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

Students will have to present Myself and Teacher will correct the error in their presentation.
