Subsidiary Aims
-
Identify key places, animals, and activities mentioned during the tour

Ask: If you were giving a tour of your clinic or a zoo, what would you show first? What information would you include? Board student predictions in 3 columns: Places, Animals, Activities.
Prepare for note taking
Play the first 2–3 minutes of the video without pausing. Students answer: Who is giving the tour? What’s the first area or animal they show? What’s the general feeling of the tour (formal, casual, fun)? Quick pair check and confirm answers.
Replay the video in full. Students use Cornell notes to record: Left column: Locations visited or animals shown Right column: Details, facts, or special features mentioned Bottom: Summary of the tour sequence
In pairs, students use their notes to recreate the tour: Describe the order of places visited Include at least 2 details per stop If time allows, groups can “give” a mini-tour to the class. Vocabulary check and Glossary building
