Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-Say&ask Hello and how was your day ?(30secs.) -W/B: *agile * ambitious * determined * enthusiastic * intelligent * powerful * ruthless * talented(30secs.) -then put the class in pairs -next pass out the HOs -read the words and have each pair read 1 or 2 meanings to the W/C (4mins) -tell the W/C in pairs to match the meanings to the words

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

-while the students are working ,set up the photos and videos -next tell the students that they will be watching some sort videos and look at a few photos(2mins) -PLAY Barry shanders highlight clip-----agile -SHOW a photo of Lenix lewis & Tiger woods-----ambitous -WATCH special olympics highlights 2009---determined -SHOW Albert enstien ------intelligent -WATCH space shuttle lauch ---- powerful -SHOW Tony Montana ans AL Capone----ruthless -WATCH Americas got talent -----talented -WATCH train guy ----enthusiastic -explain:crazyyyy))))))(3mins) -last ask students to make nouns from the adjectives 1.agility2.ambition3.determination4.enthusiasm5.intelligence6.power7.ruthlessness8.tatent(3mins)

Clarification (10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
