Description

In this lesson students will learn to talk about communication express opinions. The lesson strats with a presenting of different communication types and discussion about which way of communication is good. Then it continues with a listening activity which they will listen different commutications and check whether or not they understand the context of listening. Finally there will be a vocabulary activity for learning expression opinions

Main Aims

  • To provide gist and specific information listening using pictures and sentences about different methods of communicatons

  • To provide accuracy and fluency to speaking practice conversation using vocabulary about express opinoins

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T shows pictures and ask them "what are they doing?”

Pre-Reading/Listening (5-7 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

- T shows on WB How do you communicate with your family? T will tell to students- `I use FACEBOOK MESSENGER` to call my family. and he will ask one student how he or she communicate with his family. then he will say do pair work.and will ask to studens tell to their partner `how do you communicate with your family`. then he will takes FBs asking FB “how your partner communicate with his\her family?”

While-Reading/Listening #1 (5-8 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

listen to conversations and writewhat their conversation is about? they write ansewes to HO. And disscuss with partners.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (7-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

T-SAYS Listen again which sentences are TRUE or FALSE. T gives HOs. compare the answers with partners and discuss. FB T writes on WB

Post-Reading/Listening (5-8 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

T shows question on WB by projector and give some opinions. after students talking about these question with each other,

Pre-Listening #2 (5-8 minutes) • Give listening vocabulary“waste of time” "to be addicted"

after activity T says "you can also use FACEBOOK MESSENGER right?" T asks students "who does/doesn`t use FECEBOOK" "T says when you use FACEBOOK a lot you lose your time." And add "which one is good "read book" or "lose time in facebook?" after feedbacks he can ask to students "what is the expression to spen your time for nothing?" and tries tto elicit answer. If students can`t find the ansewes he says "it is waste of time" he write it on WB. and he can drill. after he can shows the pictures and ask "why boy doesn`t stop checkng his facebook. beecause he is addicted"

Post-Listening #2 (3-5 minutes) • find who sad each sentences.

Studens read the sentences and try to find who said what. T gives HO. Studens discuss between themselves after T gives answes.

EXTRA FOR IF THERE IS STILL TIME # Speaking (5-6 minutes) • Give opinion following statements using expressing opinions.

T shows statements regroups students and tell them chouse one statements and discuss about in your grups. T walks around monitors and if there is a time correct some error.
