Procedure (18-5 minutes)
Teacher uses an authentic image . Set the context; what’s the topic? Ss will guess the topic . CCQ ? ; How many people are in this family? Do you have a big or small family? Do they love each other ? A Game . Rules are announced. ICQ ; How many words must you write? How much time do you have?
Using the family tree pic . Ss find Tim . Answer the questions in pair . ICQ: How ? In pairs . Teacher checks the answer with the whole class . Teacher models and drills the new vocabularies. CCQs are written in the presentation file . After Tim Leeś family , teacher divides the matching items . Students find their partner ICQ ; how much time do you have? Only one minute ? Present Ana family in the same way .
