Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Procedure: On the board, write: Past Perfect Third Conditional Vocabulary: mistake, regret, prepare, forget, warn, explain, react Ask students: What do you remember from this week? What’s the difference between these two grammar points? Board 3 sample sentences with missing parts and ask volunteers to complete them aloud.

Wrap-Up (8-10 minutes) • To finalize the session and recap on what was done

Procedure: Ask students: Which question was the hardest? Which new word or phrase did you hear today? Board key terms and review 4–6 useful vocabulary items from the games. Clarify pronunciation or meaning where needed.

Practice (43-45 minutes) • To practice topics of the week

Kahoot Quiz 1 – Grammar Focus Procedure: Launch a Kahoot with 10–12 questions focusing on: Past perfect identification Third conditional sentence completion Grammar error spotting (T/F or multiple choice) Play as individuals or pairs. Stop every 3–4 questions to clarify and explain any confusing answers. Kahoot Quiz 2 – Listening for Logic Procedure: Play Kahoot with short spoken sentences where students must: Identify the correct verb tense Choose the correct follow-up or interpretation Answer comprehension questions based on the audio Pause after each clip to elicit key words and reasoning.
