To explain the widely recognized Cambridge qualification with the different parts of the exam, study tips, exam versions and resources.

To provide fluency speaking practice in a interview in the context of an international Cambridge exam.

To provide product writing practice of a email in the context of a job application at an international company
Procedure (95-125 minutes)
Teacher elicits three statements, one of them is false and the other two are true. Student guesses the false statement and further discussion is encouraged. Student now elicits three statements about herself, teacher guesses.
Teacher introduces himself by providing some background information about his teaching career. Student asks some further questions and then she introduces herself and her English learning journey. Teacher asks student for her learning goals, needs, etc.
Teacher explains the different components of the B2 First Cambridge exam: Reading & Use of English, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Student rates his skills in a scale from 1 to 10 and talk about her weaknesses and strengths. Teacher explains the different parts of each component and briefly explains the skills that are assessed. Teacher provides some useful tips.
Teacher shows student a sample paper with the different parts, so student gets to know the exam better. Student is given a link with a demo version of the digital exam so she can discover the exam features and the different options. Teacher briefly explains all the features and tools that can be used when taking the digital exam.
Teacher sets the context of the speaking examination and sets exam conditions. Teacher asks some questions from the FCE Speaking Part 1. Student answers the questions. Teacher provides some positive and constructive feedback to the student. Teacher provides some model answers, so student has a better understanding on how to approach these questions. Student is asked some other questions, and she tries to imitate teacher's responses.
Teacher provides student with some examples of writing tasks with their score. Student is given a writing task to work on, the context of a job application is previously set. Teacher reviews the written task and gives some positive feedback, so student is aware of her strengths and weaknesses. Teacher helps student to improve her writing assignment by using some more advanced expressions and structures.
Teacher explains his findings to the student, so she is aware of her current English level, and the things that require some more work. Teacher provides student with some general tips on how to improve those aspects.
Teacher briefly explains the format of the reading and use of English part and provides some time management strategies on how to approach this paper.
Teacher presents a reading and use of English part 1 task. Teacher explains what the task consists of and provides some general strategies and tips on how to approach this kind of exercises. Student deals with some warmup tasks, and then, she works on the main task. Student answers the questions and then answers are checked with the teacher.
