Description

In this lesson the ss are going to learn some vocabularies about the food and the cans, the main focus is going to be on pronunciation and phonetic aspects because I think ss know most of the vocab's meaning. I will approach this lesson through Testing, Teaching, Testing, and then Practicing. There is no specific text, so it is going to be an open conversation about food in general.

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of Food in my fridge

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

beginning by I am hungry, and ask what should I eat. SUPPOSE there is a fridge in the school, if I opened it what do you think could be there,

match (9-7 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language, and to discover what do they need

model that operation give them a match worksheet, with picture to match the names of the objects

elicit (7-8 minutes) • speaking stimulating the schemata

submit Ho 1 and try to figure out the answer discuss the answer

check (5-6 minutes) • checkıng ıf the ss really understand the meanıng of the vocb

doıng Exc 2 submıttıng the HO 2 and let the ss do ıt check ın paırs, then whole class feed back

brain storming spider map (5-6 minutes) • vocabulary

what do you think that there are in the fridges, draw a circle around the word food in the middle of the board and try to elicit some vocabularies.

elıcıtıng the second set of vocab (4-5 minutes) • clarıfıcatıon

elıcıt the meanıngs of the contaıners ın the pıcture.
