(Warm-up) "Tokyo Associations" The teacher shows students the Tokyo Skytree image from the textbook. Students listen and check their guesses from the previous stage. If they have guessed correctly what they can do at each place and, which places Mike and Harry decide to visit
The teacher asks the following questions and elicits some answers to discuss whether Mike and Harry are good travel friends. "What kind of person is Harry? What kind of person is Mike?" In a group of 3, the students imagine that they are travelling to Tokyo together and they only have 2 days to visit some places. They are expected to create a travel guide plan for two days, including the following places, and they are free to add any other activities. When they are done, they are expected to explain why they had that order of places. Noodle restaurant Yoyogi Park (cherry blossom) Akihabara shopping Karaoke until 3 am Fish market at dawn
