By the end of the lesson, students will be able to present a dialogue in a veterinary context in which they give an opinion and ask for agreement, using appropriate expressions to engage in respectful and collaborative professional discussions.
Subsidiary Aims

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to present a dialogue in a veterinary context in which they soften their opinions using phrases like "I guess" and "I feel like", demonstrating polite and collaborative communication when discussing treatment options or animal care decisions.
Procedure (61-75 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
The teacher shares some expressions and asks the students to read them, focusing on intonation and rhythm.
Useful Language (25-30 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks
The teacher asks the students to practice their conversation. The first time, they are allowed to use their notes; the second time, they are not.
Productive Task(s) (25-30 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
The teacher asks each pair to perform their conversation.
Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language
The teacher provides general feedback.
