To clarify and practice vocabulary related to a healty life style in the context of giving suggestions using "should"
Subsidiary Aims
-
To enable students to use "should" for giving advice with increase fluancy and accuracy.

To develope students' listening skills through a short vedio.
Procedure (24-34 minutes)
Play a short video of a news report to the students and ask them "what is the video about?" " what unhealthy habits did you see?" 3mins The students in groups are supposed to talk about their own unhealthy habits. 1mins Then they will share their ideas in class.board 2 or 3 ideas which help to reach to healthy lifestyle vocab 1mints Turn to first slide of power point and ask them the questions about the provided picture and elicit the unhealthy habits that he has .1
-Show slide 2; picture of overweight or unhealthy people . Ask: "What should they do to improve their lifestyle?". Elicit ideas using "should" - Guide the students to suggested possible solution, which will naturally lead to target vocabulary . - Show slide 3 :A man eating junk food . Ask " what should he do?" students reply "he should eat healthy food ." Slides 4 -8, each showing one target habit( drink water , exercise, sleep well, go for a walk , eat more fruit and vegetables.) -For each word/phrase . Elicit meaning through context . check understanding will CCQs . show phonetic transcription . Drill pronunciation ( choral and individual )
-move to next slide, a short gap-fill exercise, each sentence includes a blank. Example: "He is tired every day.He should ................". Students will complete with correct form of the new vocabulary - monitor for accuracy - conduct quick whole- class feedback by asking a few students to read their answers aloud
