Procedure (14-24 minutes)

Warmer/Lead-in (2-4 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

In this stage ,at first I will ask students to read title and introduction .Then, i will ask them what do they think about it ?Next, i will ask them the second question: are there any areas with a lot of the same kinds of stores where they live?

Pre-Reading/Listening (2-4 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

There are some vocabularies which I prefer to mention them as essential words helping students comprehending the passage better. If possible , I will show some related pictures to new vocabularies. Economics, Sunbather, Zone ,make money ,lose money , walk further

While-Reading/Listening #1 (4-6 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

In this stage ,I will ask students to look at pictures of ice cream sellers and then i will ask them in your opinion which one is the best for customers and give your reason ? Do it in pair in 2 minutes and then read article fast to check your answers then I will ask them for their answers

While-Reading/Listening #2 (4-6 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

In this stage, I will give students 4minutes to read the passage deeply and fill the blanks with phrases given in pair ,then I will ask them to give the answers

Post-Reading/Listening (2-4 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

At last stage, I will ask students to have a discussion in pair about part f questions: 1_Do you think it is a good or bad thing having some similar stores next to each other selling the same products? 2_have you ever traveled a long way to go to a store and why? How far did you travel?
