Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (13-15 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Activity: Each student draws a card and forms a sentence using: An irregular past verb There was / there were A quantifier (a little, a few, many)

Productive Task(s) (58-60 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Activity: Describe the Clinic Instructions: Students receive short fictional clinic scenarios (e.g., full waiting room, empty operating room, overstocked shelf).
