Procedure (82-90 minutes)
In a circle, students create a clinic story in the past. Student A: I arrived early and cleaned the exam room Student B: Then I checked the appointments and called a client Continue until everyone adds a sentence Focus on correct use of regular past tense and connectors (and, then, after that)
Tasks: Match verbs to images or descriptions Build 3 full past-tense sentences using those verbs Share and correct in pairs (focus on pronunciation)
Each student writes a short 4-step past narrative from their clinic experience (true or fictional). Students pair up and tell their stories. After each, partners ask 1 follow-up question: Open discussion.What was your favourite story? Wich one do you think is real?
Each student writes one sentence on a strip of paper that starts with: Last week, I... Yesterday, we... I worked with... Stick these to a wall or whiteboard to create a memory chain. Instructor reviews a few out loud and highlights grammar and pronunciation.
