Main Aims

To enable students to correctly use and distinguish between -ed and -ing adjectives in speaking and writing.
Subsidiary Aims

To improve students’ reading comprehension of forum-style texts.

To give students fluency speaking practice through personal responses and discussion.
Procedure (55 minutes)
I'm going to show for example “annoyed” vs “annoying” flashcards. Ask: “Which one shows the feeling?”
Elicit the meaning and difference between –ed and –ing adjectives from students using examples
I'm going to hand out worksheets for ed/ing adjectives and I'm going to monitor them while they're completing it to make sure that they have understood it
Students complete exercise 5b using ed and ing ending adjectives check in pairs and I'm going to check them in pairs.
Im going to ask students to tell me that do they study outside of class and how? and I want them to share their ideas
Students are going to read the passage for 5 minutes in silence in pairs, and I'm going to monitor and answer their questions about new words
im going to ask like ' which tip would u try? which one do you already do? pairs discuss and justify choices and I want them to share their best tip
