Description

In this lesson, students learn to differentiate between -ed and -ing adjectives (e.g., bored/boring, annoyed/annoying) through guided discovery. The lesson begins with a lead-in question and a flashcard matching activity to engage students with real-life examples. This is followed by controlled practice using gap-fill exercises from the coursebook. Then, students read a forum post and comments where English learners share tips on studying outside the classroom. They discuss their habits and preferences, providing fluency practice. The lesson ends with a wrap-up discussion and optional writing homework using the new vocabulary.
