Vocabulary lesson- Adjectives
To provide clarification How to describe a noun, thing.
To provide accuracy and fluency speaking practice in a discussion in a context .
Procedure (25-34 minutes)
I will start by describing myself. The students will have a competition in group in 3 minutes. The group that finds the most adjectives will be the winner. They will have to describe a person from the other groups using 3 adjectives
SS will use some adjectives from the warmer to associate them to some pictures.
I will make a double check such as review parts of speech. They will check their answers in pairs and i will write some on the board to explain some grammatical rules. I will stick some explicit rules on the board that the students will must follow for the next exercıse T will introduce the word "very" by showing 2 pictures.
They will have an exercise to find the opposite of some adjectives. They will correct the answers in pairs
T will ask Ss to take a look at pictures on the board and discuss to find the opposite. T will model the first one .
T will instruct the students to do the exercise 3 by putting an example on the board very/ It's/ computer/ a/ old= It's a very old computer. Students will have a pair check and then check their answers.
