Jobs lesson, yes/no questıons wıth the sıngular form of the verb to be
To use the singular of the verb be with the appropriate pronoun.
To provide practice of the singular form of the verb to be.
Procedure (25-29 minutes)
the students will look at some pictures, and i will ask them what they see. After some speculations, i will ask some questions about the pictures using the singular form of the verb be.
The Teacher will ask the students to work in pairs to compare answers. They will check in pairs and they will receive the right answers.
They will listen an audio. They will be focus on the photo of Tina and Matt on SB p17 and point out photos 1-4 of Tina s friends. The students will listen and match the names in the box to photo 1-4. After they will check the answers with the class.
The students will get some pictures and they will have to talk in groups about which pronoun to use and how to formulate a yes-no answer.
