To provide gist and specific information listening practice using a text about the things that they have in their bags in the context of everyday objects.
To review and practice the names of common objects and to introduce and practice a/an and singular/plural nouns in the context of everyday objects.
Procedure (41-53 minutes)
I will enter the class with a bag full of different objects and attract students' attention to my heavy bag and make them eager to know about the objects that I have in it. I will also elicit some guesses about what I have in my bag.
I will show the objects to my students and elicit the words from them. I will also emphasize on the use of a/an indirectly.
Students will complete the exercises of the book. They will match the words with the pictures. they will also complete a fill in the gaps excersise about a/an which they practiced indirectly in privious stage. Ss check in pairs WCF
Show the book pictures to the students. In pairs predict their jobs and what they have in their bags. WCF
