Description

In this text,students will learn new vocab in the reading and practice comprehension by doing exercises,in the first and last part of teaching,they will answer my questions about topic.

Materials

Abc Controlled practice,productive

Main Aims

  • To provide clarification
  • Improve skimming and deep reading and learn some new words

Subsidiary Aims

  • Share opinion and improve speaking and vocab range

Procedure

Lead in (1-2 minutes) • Preparing students,get them familiar with topic

I will ask them(do you post anything on social media about your weekend? and they share their opinion and will get familiar with context

Pre teaching (2-4 minutes) • Teaching new and blocking words to students

I will use pictures and sentences to teach blocking words.students will guess the meaning by pics and sentences Lier(adjective) lie(verb) invent(verb) fake tan(noun)

While reading 1 (3-6 minutes) • Get the whole idea

I will ask them to read context fast,for whole idea to answer activity page 34(they should recognize due to context wich tweets are lie (Skimming)They will share their opinion together

While reading 2 (5-6 minutes) • Comprehension with details

Students will read the question on page 34 (Correct the wrong information) And after that they will read context for detail(scanning)they will do this part in pairs

Post reading (1-3 minutes) • Discuss and having a conclusion

Ask them the question on page 34 What do you usually answer when people ask you(did you have a good weekend?)is it always true?
