To provide gist and detailed reading practice using a text about Amazing journeys in the context of Travel
To provide fluency speaking practice in a retelling a story in the context of travel and journeys
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
ss work in pairs and answer questions regarding types of transport and preferences. ex.1
Change pairs and get the ss to discuss prediction questions: ex.2 1- what type of transport do you think the people are using? 2- where do you think the people are going? 3- how do you think these words are connected to the journeys? Quick WC FB and board answers.
Divide class into three groups, A-B-C. Each group reads one of the texts and answer the previous questions. ex.3 peer check WC FB!
SS work alone and answer the questions ex.3. Peer check group ss, one from each group, A<B<C and get them to report their answers to their groups. WC FB asking ss to report o their findings.
