Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (2-4 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

T SAYS DO THIS ACTIVITY ALONE FOR 6 ICQ- ARE YOU DOING TOGETHER ?NO ARE YOU DOING ALONE? YES T GIVES A GAP FILL ACTITY TO SEE WHAT THEY KNOW ABOUT PAST CONTINOUS TENSE

Teach (8-12 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

T WILL BE GIVING 3 ACTIVIES THAT ARE RELATED TO ONE ANOTHER IN THE 1 ACTIVITY THEY HAVE TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT VERB FORM T SAYS YOU ARE GOING TO DO IT ALONE -TIME LIMIT 4 MIN FB-T WRITES NUMBERS 1-11 AND EACH SS WILL COME TO WB TO WRITE ONE ANSWER TO EACH NUMBER LISTED T WILL ASK THE CLASS IF THEY AGREE OR NOT AND WHY IN THE 2 ACITIY-SS ARE GOING TO WRITE THE QUESTION FORM OF PAST CONTINOUS USING THE INFORMATION FROM THE 1ST ACTIVITY.
