Exposure (10-15 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

T will ask the students to look at the model she created using the legos and toys. Then they will be asked to recreate the story using the legos. They will work in groups of four. After the task, each group will check the model. They will make corrections if needed. Teacher will tell the story again and they will all check their model neighbourhoods. (5 min.) After the completion of the task, they will match the pictures with the strips of words. They will do that in pairs. One student will be given the nouns and the other student will be given the prepositions, they will match the prepositions+nouns+pictures. (5 min.) (pw-group check) Then, they will look at the text they read in the previous lesson on the course book p. 32. This time they will underline the prepositions and nouns. T will ask ss to put the nouns under the correct prepositions (on/at/in) on HO. This three-page HO has mind maps on them. Those mind maps should be completed with the necessary noun. They will decide which word goes with which preposition. They will use the information from the text they read and their prior knowledge. (gw) Then they will compare their answers with the other groups. They will check if there is any difference. T will write the correct classification on the board. Ss will compare their answers. At: at the end, work, school, the restaurant, the cinema, the doctor’s In: a house, towns/cities/countries, the mountains, the centre On: the street/King Street, the beach, floor
