Students will be divided into groups where they can read many invitations for different occasions like meeting ,wedding, and stay for the weekend. Students will read six invitations and categorize them under each of the three occasions. Categorizing is an engaging activity that can meet many multi-intelligence characteristics.
Students will read the six invitations again and underline the useful phrases for :1. inviting 2. accepting 3.refusing invitations. After underlining, teacher will ask students to categorize the phrases under the three categories using WordWall. The use of technology can increase the power of participation among students. They will do the task in pairs. Then teacher will highlight the pronunciation of the contracted form. As well as, the intonation of making polite request.
