to enable students to understand and effectively use 1st conditional sentences to express real and possible future situations in both spoken and written forms
Subsidiary Aims

to provide accuracy speaking practice in a 1st condition in the context of future plans
Procedure (44-59 minutes)
-greeting -calling roles discussion about their plans: ask students about their plans - write down their sentences and introduce the concept of conditional sentences
- explanation of the structure of 1st conditional sentences structure: if+ simple present , future form of the verb - explanation of the use of 1st conditional sentences - asking students to make some sentences
picture prompts: showing images depicting different situations(e.g., a sunny day). students must create 1st conditional sentences -feedback and share: discuss as a class which sentence could be be realistic and which might be more imaginative.
future scenario: divide students into small groups and give them different scenarios(eg., planning a picnic, preparing for an exam,...) each group creates a list of 1st conditional sentences based on their scenario. present their sentences to the class.
review: recap the lesson by asking individuals to complete the sentences with a bingo game homework: ask students to write a short paragraph describing a day where they use at least 5 1st conditional sentences.
