Procedure (34-45 minutes)
1) T shows ss a 2 minute video and elicits what's it about? 2)T asks ss "Who do you usually give tips to in your country?" 3) Ss discuss their answers for one minute. 4) T elicits some of the answers. (delayed FB)
T elicits the meaning of following words following MPF order. CCQ: Complicated instructions, Are they easy to understand? Are they clear enough? vary (v) /ˈver.i/ If things of the same type vary, they are different from each other, differ CCQ: Do the salaries vary from city to city in Turkey? Compulsory (adj) /kəmˈpʌl.sər.i/ Something that is necessary, you must do it because of a rule or law: CCQ: Is the military service compulsory in Turkey?
