B1 level

Description

In this lesson students will learn how "for" and "since" are used through controlled and semi-controlled speaking and writing activities. First I will elicit the sentences "I have been a teacher since 2008." and "I have been married for 4 months." Then I will break them down and examine the difference of "for" and "since". Later we will move on to different frequently used time expressions with "for" and "since". "Never" will be added afterwards and students will practice speaking about their experiences.
