Procedure (37-49 minutes)
T will write weekend(saturday/sunday) on WB. Then write the first activity and show students how to line up.
Give them a piece of paper with the photos of weekend activities. T will ask Ss to discuss with their partners. Then a second handout will be given. It is a matching activity/ They will check with their partners and the correct answers will be written on WB.
Ss will match the first handout with the second one. They will check the answers with their partners and then the answer will be will be written on WB. While doing this T will drill the problematic words.
Ss will be given handouts from the book. It is a self test and when they finish the activity they share their scores with their partners. Then check the scores as a whole class activity. Different feedback techniques will be tried. And the teacher will write some of the answers with the difficult vocabulary.
Ss will write their own sentences first. Two things they often do, two things they never do. Then they will find the best weekend partner as a mingling activity.
