To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of favourite teacher
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
The T greets the sts and asks how they are. Later she asks them whther they ever wanted to become a teacher.
She asks the feaures of a good teacher. she writes the sts' answers on the board. After that she asks them about nehative feautures of a teacher. She wirtes them on the board as well. Then she asks them to close their eyes and think about their teacher. She asks why they like that tecaher, what kind of a person s/he was, whther s/he had any negative feautres and what they were. After that she asks them to talk to their partner abut their teacher and find what is common between the teachers.
Later the teacher gives the student a task in which they need to put some information in the order it comes in the description (Appendix 1). After that she asks them to compare their answers with their pairs and then she gives them the task and asks them to check their answers before strating writing.
The T gives the task (Appendix 2) to the sts and she asks them to write a descriptive paragrapgh about their favourite teacher. While the sts are writing she monitors them and help them when necessary.
The T gives fedback about the writing and guides the sts to correct their error. After that she asks the sts to swap their papers, read theier partner's paper and ask two questions about their teacher.
