Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

who is the most handsome/beautiful person u have ever met? what about character? why? in group talk 2 min.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

ss talk about each other how do they look like? describe themselves. character and appearance. instruction: talk in group and describe urself, modeling: i look very friendly and i look like my dad and i ve got my dad,s face f. im in my mid 20th. i see myself as rather hardworking and caring, trustful and loyal person. i hate telling a lie and about my appearance i ve got an oval face with dark black eyes. i ve got a black short hair. write on the board to talk about those 3 category in their book. ( charcter, looks, age) talk about ur friends or urself? urself. talk about character or looks? both

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

after 4 min elicit ss answers and write on the board. tell ss these are some more vocabulary for describing character on the cards with its meaning. match in ur groups and act it out for another group. two group one character, the other looks. active: busy aggressive: very angry. u want to fight with s.o ambitious: u want to be sucsessful, rich and powerful. confident: sure that u can do sth. generous: u are willing to give money to s.o imaginative: good at thinking new ideas. lively: has a lot of energy and very active. nervous: worried or frightened about sth. outgoing: likes to talk to new people. serious: not joking shy: nervous when u talk or meet new people first play charade in their group then for the nest group.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

CCQ: active: do they like to sleep a lot? no do they like to work a lot? yes aggressive: are they happy or angry? ambitious: do they like to get to high places. is a doctor, milioner, president ambitious? yes outgoing : do they like to talk with new people? yes is it the same as shy? no. nervous: when u have exam u are ..... form, rep with showing the feeling.

talk and describe ur friend and ur family. talk in group of 3. describe the person u like the most or u hate the most.
