stage 1 (3-5 minutes) • Generate interest in topic to provide context

Teacher asks students if they are book person or not and also asks about the last book they read.

stage 2 (5-8 minutes) • Teaching new vocab in text

teacher elicits new vocabs in the context, provides meaning, form and pronunciation and example.

stage 3 (3-5 minutes) • Gist reading

Teachers ask student to read the text quickly and choose the best title for the text.they don't need to worry about new Lexis . Teacher ask Ss to work in pair and check their answers.teacher runs feed back for correct answer.

stage 4 (10-15 minutes) • Detail reading

Teacher asks Ss to read the text again answer the questions. T asks Ss to work in pair and discuss their answers.T monitors and runs feed back for correct answer.

stage 5 (5-10 minutes) • post-reading speaking

Teachers asks students to swap their partner and discuss their answers
