Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

ss will talk about how people greet in iran and watch a movie about greeting in another countries. then they will talk how it is different with their country.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

Teacher will elicit the pictures on the walls. and talk which one do they use which one they dont? in Iran. which one is more common amoung ladies and which is for men? work on meaning form pronunciation.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

read and choose the best title for each question. alone check in pair. teacher will give students the answers.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

do the questionnaire alone check in small groups.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
