Procedure (43-50 minutes)
The teacher enters the class wearing his sunglasses and a hat. He is also carrying a suitcase in his hands. He has his passport in his pocket as well. He asks students "what am I doing?, where am I going?" He tries to elicit some vocabulary about holiday, travel and travel essentials from the students. He asks some questions about holidays and tries to get some answers from the students.
The students match the vocabulary with the pictures, they check their answers in pairs. The teacher makes them listen to the answers. The teacher drills the pronunciation of some vocabulary.
The students listen to the first part of a conversation and answer the question
The students listen to the rest of the conversation and answer the questions and then they compare their answers in pairs. The teacher checks and shows the answers to the whole class.
The students answer the questions given and then they listen to the conversation again and check their answers
The students will make a holiday plan in pairs and they will talk about their travel plans and travel essentials. They will share their opinions about travel plans and what they will need for such a travel.
