Procedure (37-49 minutes)
The teacher asks the names of the celebrities or people whose pictures are shown on his tablet to the SS and tries to elicit descriptive information about them by asking questions with to be and have/has got.
The teacher asks different questions by using the forms of 'to be' and 'have/has got' to the SS who are trying to describe the people or celebrities on the pictures.
After all the pictures have been shown to the SS and they have been sufficiently exposed to the language forms, the teacher uses contractions by repeating the same sentences he used in the warm up and exposure sessions.
The teacher shows the contracted forms of to be and have/has got on a word document by reflecting it on the smartboard.
The students try to describe the student they chose to the class by using have/has got, to be and the whole class try to guess who that student is.
The students do the filling-in exercises on their books and the teacher shows the answers on the smartboard.
