Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Talk about people in the family Who heads the family take examples from there culture?

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

Ask them to discuss in groups about the family members in english and try to think about their titles in English

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

Give them a worksheet and say the definition of the word mother and let the students say bingo if they know the answer. Then ask them to arrange them in the order of hierarchy. Then ask them who is laila's Husband? Teach apostrophe Elicit examples

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

Ask them to do questions 1-7 and test if they can do that take feed back by giving answers

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Ask students to talk about their family .Give them a layout name ,age,Place .Family,Hobbies
