To provide accuracy speaking practice in a conversation in the context of Science and technology
Procedure (35-45 minutes)
T will ask the students 'What is the most visited website in Turkey?Can you guess that ?' After eliciting a few ideas,T will classify the right answers and write the answers on the board.
After classifying the answers, T will ask the students to compare those three websites by their bounce rate.Since the students have learnt the subject in the previous lesson, it will be easier for them.Then, T will ask them 'What is that one?What do we call them?Can I compare two things İf I want to use a superlative ?.As a second part, the students will be asked about the usage of an adjective when comparing two things and forming the superlative.By writing the examples on the white board, T will clarify the usage about the adjectives regarding with the last syllable.
At this stage,in pairs, the students will do the first and second exercises by row.İt is based on using the TL.Afterwards,there will be a WC feedback.İf they struggle, T will help the students.
T will ask the Ss do the third exercise by mingling activity.They will ask the three questions each other.İf T hear any mistakes,she will write the errors on the board to correct them with whole class.By eliciting T will get the answers.İt will be based on WC feedback
T will ask the Ss to read the text quickly.T will ask them to find the superlatives and comparatives in the text.After analyzing the each paragraph the feedback will be given by Teacher.İt will be a Pw,wc feedback.
