Main Aims

  • To provide accuracy speaking practice in a Conversation in the context of being famous.

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide clarification and practice of fame lexis in the context of Being Famous.

Procedure

Warm-up (5-8 minutes) • To set the main context and get students interested in the topic.

T will put a picture of a starry night on the board,as well as the graphical image of a star.Fistly asking questions like''What can you see in this picture?or What are these lights in the sky?Did you see a star very closely?etc.(afterwards elicit a few quick ideas).

Lead in-Presantation (10-15 minutes) • To get engaged the students for the text and questions

T will show them the text(by chesting)and make a connection with visuals on the board,and then distribute the exercises.To give clear instructions T will read the 1.exercises.T will ask them to be in pairs first.T will let them speak during this time.(meanwhile they can take some notes ). Afterwards it will be based on CCQs.'What is your job?now.What was your dream job?'Did you really want be a famous person?

Controlled Practice (10-12 minutes) • To expose the new vocabulary to the students.

T will write the words on the board and by eliciting make them consider about the meaning of the words.By drilling ,T will focus on the pronunciation ,about the words which might cause several problems for students.By modelling ,presenting visual samples T will check the Ss.Afterwards CCQ will help the consiladating the practices.

Speaking (10-15 minutes) • To give a Ss chance for speaking by using new vocabulary.

T will refer the speech bubbles for examples,and will ask them to take notes and share their ideas in pairs also Whole Class.T will encourage the Ss's to use new vocabulary.Afterwards By Ccq T will check the Ss's.(Reinforce the vocabulary part also).
