Description

In this lesson, students learn about request express service, through a TTT based on a quiz. The lesson starts with a flash card game where Ss should identify the name of some services. This is followed by a Quiz. Later, there will be a semi-contorted activity, followed by a listening task where students are ask to complete the statements using passive causative. Finally, there will be a speaking task by the end.

Procedure

Test #1 (10-13 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

I will show the students 6 photos of different services using the WB, I will nominate one student and S/he will come to the board and try to describe the picture without using the vocabulary or saying which service it is. The rest of the class will try to guess which service is being described. I will go for demo first. After electing the vocabulary from the students I will model and drill. Individually students will take a quiz with a multiply answers they have to tick one. a quick FB.

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

I will show the students two sentences and they have to figure out what the difference between these two sentences. Kim cleaned the carpet. Kim had the carpet cleaned. The agency painted the wall. The agency got the wall painted. Answer: the first one is done by the subject himself, the second the action is done by someone else. Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

Students will be given HO contains 10 statements they should to write them in the passive causative form. Brief FB will be done. This will be followed by an other practice activity where students should write questions using the passive causative. they should Write three questions with have and three with get. a quick FB

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

this activity it will be speaking I will give them a chart of some services first Ss should add two more activities to the bottom of the chart. Then, they should identify which activity they do themselves and which they use services for. And by the end they should share the information with their partners.
