T show the Ss the picture of Rob and tries to elicit the situation from them and then T asks them how he might get into his house and elicits the word ladder. Then after that the teacher allows the Ss to read the questions, then play recording 1.44. For FB T sticks the answers on the walls and asks the Ss to go and check their answers.
T asks the learners to read the sentences about Rob's situation and to tick or correct them. Then plays recording 1.44 again so they can check their answers. For FB T asks one S from each group to take the role of the teacher and to explain to his/her group the answers.
T gets some ideas from the class about how Rob will get back into his house. Then plays recording 1.45 so learners can check their ideas and round off the listening.
T asks the Ss to do ex 4 and then takes FB.
T writes one or some sentences on the board from ex 4 and tries from it to elicit the meaning, form, and pronunciation from the Ss.
T asks the Ss to work in pairs and answer ex 5. Then T takes FB and rounds off the lesson.
