T mingles the class so ss have new pairs, t demonstrates the activity by choosing one of the circles on "My hopes and dreams HO/3a" herself, and putting it onto the board, makes a short note, asks a "why" question to herself, answers by using TL. T tells ss to choose four of of the circles and write a short note about their hopes, dreams and ambitions under each and gives out the HO. T clarifies the meaning of "pipe dream". Ss make their notes in three minutes, ask and answer the questions about the things they have written under the circles. Ss use the phrases in the language box in the HO.
