In this lesson , students will practice listening and speaking in the context of " interviews ". The lesson starts with a quick O/C brainstorm of dos and donts for job interviews. The new vocabulary related to the audio will be pre-taught by the teacher with a matching exercise . Teaching Practice 1

Beginner level

The hotel: In this lesson students will practice their listening, speaking and comprehension skills specifically regarding hotel reservations. The students will listen to a number of audio dialogues and afterwards will have a group discussion focusing on polite phrases and pronunciation. There will also be a short role-play where the students can book a mock reservation.

Teaching Practice 2a

Beginner level

The lesson will start with the topic of clocks. From there the students will practice the TL first in general by ranking them. Then in a controlled practice they will match times. After 2 controlled practices, and a checking practice that involves listening there will be game time. 10 minutes at the end will be dedicated to a competitive game (between Clock Team and Time Team) where the students need to use the what they have learned.
