Procedure

Lead-in (3-4 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will share my Google slides and ask the following 2 questions to my Ss. 1. Where do you live? 2. Where is your favorite place in your town? I will make 30 seconds for Ss to think individually. Then, I will make Break Out rooms for Ss to discuss in pairs. After that, I will elicit some answers from Ss. ICQ: Which tool do you use? Break Out rooms, or chat box? - Break Out rooms. Sample analysis (8-10 minutes) • To provide sample writing for students to identify the sections and language needed in the piece of writing

Ss will read the text with 2 min, and answer the following 5 questions. ICQ: How many questions do you have? - 5 questions. Ss will use the chat box to share their answers after 2 min. Writing (15-20 minutes) • To provide writing practice for students

I will say the slide number and students' name before writing. I will make 20 min for Ss to write. Then, I will encourage them to write with my template. I will make some Break Out rooms for students to talk and work in groups. ICQ: Is it OK for you to talk during this practicing? - Yes. Feedback (10-12 minutes) • To inform students how they did writing both context and language

Students will do the feedback with peer. They also use the use of a checklist. I will give them 6 min and I will make Break Out rooms. Before this activity, I will give 1 min to encourage them to check individually. After that, I will monitor some students to correct their language mistake. DEC. CCQ: Do you say 'it are' ? - No. CCQ: Do you write 'fmious' instead of 'famous' ? - No. 'famous' is correct. Anticipated problem and solution Problem: There is no mistake in their reports. Solution: I will make some wrong sentences in the white board and elicit the answer from Ss.
