Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (10-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher creates breakout rooms so students are able to ask and answer the following questions: Do you know any of the superstitions on the image? What do they say? Research in case you do not know. What other superstitions do you know? Tell your classmates When time is up, the teacher brings everyone back and does a content feedback

Exposure (10-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

SS enter the following link https://forms.gle/6D6zJLPQGf7KajECA and answer the questions. SS does not submit (first they check) by sharing answers via private messages on teams and then submit. SS receive OCFB by the teacher

Useful Language (10-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

The teacher create breakout rooms so students can answer the following form: https://forms.gle/zmtqW9omN2d43jUh9. After students have finished, the teacher provides an OCFB. For MFPA focus particularly in the meaning part of the agreement (neither and so do I agree), and form (despite being for negative, neither is to agree, for example). Pronunciation can be focus on a choral drill

Productive Task(s) (14-15 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Feedback and Error Correction (5-5 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

After students have finished the productive task, they return to the main session, and the teacher asks 2 students the following content feedback: What do your classmates said about superstitions? Do you agree or disagree with what they said? What did you say about superstitions?
