Procedure (35-48 minutes)
T will show the pictures of the places and the people. T will pre teach ' sightseeing', 'the sea', and the scenery.
T will chest the HO, ask the Ss to listen to the recording, read the passage and then underline the places. T will get FB.
T will chest the Ho and ask the Ss to read the test again and fill in the gaps, then check their answers with their partners. T will ask them to put their answers on the board.
The T will chest another HO and ask the Ss to read the text again and then answer the questions. T will ask them to check their answers with their partners and then the Ss put the answers on the board.
The teacher will write the names of the three places on the board: Istanbul, Cartagena, And Guilin and ask the Ss to work in groups of three and decide which of these places they would like to visit and then give reasons why they say so.
The T will chest the HO and ask the Ss to match the words with the pictures, check their answers with their partners, and then put the answers on the board. The teacher will write the phonemic description of beach and hotel on the board and then play the recording ask the Ss to listen and practice.
The T will show the Ss two different sets of paper, give each S one piece and then ask them to find the other half of each phrase and then put them on the board.
While the phrases are on the board the T will ask the Ss to work in pairs and decide what the past tense form of each verb is then put them on the board. T will get WCFB.
The T will draw a stick figure on the board with different thought balloons around its head. She will set the context and ask the Ss to write a few sentences about their first holiday. Then she will ask them to mingle and tell each other about their first holiday, T will monitor and take notes of any mistakes.
T will write some of the mistakes on the board and ask the Ss to go to the board and correct the mistakes.
