This is followed by a listening exercise where they will practice the quantifiers. Finally, students will have a freer practice about what they liked and didn't like as a young child.

In this lesson students brush up the quantifiers and how to use them with countable and uncountable nouns.The lesson follows a Test-Teach-Test sequence:I introduce the topic of food and check students understand quantifiers and can use them(through a fill-gap exercise).Then I clarify students' doubts.Finally I provide controlled practice to test them again.

In this lesson, students learn about quantifiers through guided discovery based on listening text about visiting the desert. The lesson starts with a discussion about visiting the desert. This is followed by a listening task in which students fill in gaps with quantifiers. Then they identify the target language through highlighting it in the previous task. Finally, there is some controlled practice and freer practice on the target language followed by language/content feedback.
